I trained as a tonmeister in the UK, graduating top of my class, and now work as an independent engineer across studio, live, and location settings. That range — from a quiet control room to a loud front-of-house desk to a single mic in a field — means I bring the same ear and the same discipline to every job, whatever the room looks like.
